What to Expect During the Clear + Brilliant Treatment
First, you’ll have a topical numbing cream applied to your face for maximum comfort. Once numb, we will remove the numbing cream and degrease the skin with alcohol.
We’ll then gently guide the laser handpiece over your target areas. You may feel a slight warmth or tingling sensation during treatment, but the treatment is very tolerable. The treatment session is usually 45 minutes.
After your treatment, we apply a special treatment serum to your skin immediately to help refresh, cool, and heal your face.
Does Clear + Brilliant Have a Recovery Period?
Clear + Brilliant requires little to no social downtime and minimal aftercare. You may experience very slight redness and swelling for up to 24 hours after treatment. Applying a cooling gel or ice packs will help diminish the heat sensation and reduce the inflammation and swelling.
You can speed your recovery along by avoiding direct sunlight for two days after your procedure and wearing a sunblock of at least SPF 30 when you go outside. While the skin is healing, we recommend using mild and non-irritating skin care products.
